Depending on the type of lodging you need, there are several configurations we can accommodate. You can book townhouse accommodations or apartment style accommodations for your group.
20 Bed Townhouse houses:

• Common area on main floor
• 20 single bedrooms throughout the rest of the building
• SINGLE rooms with shared bathroom

OR 10 of the 20 rooms have bunkbeds, which can be outfitted for double occupancy.

• Each townhouse has common kitchen & lounge
• Kitchens equipped with stove, microwave & coffee maker
• Lounge has T.V./DVD player/cable service.

Or Apartment-style Quads:

• 12 apartments in each building.
• Each apartment has 4 single bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a common space in each unit.
• Four SINGLE rooms with two bathrooms

Each room has a bunk bed, which can be outfitted for double occupancy

• Each quad has a common kitchen & lounge
• Kitchens equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle & coffee maker. TV with basic cable in lounge.

Group Bookings – Individual Payments – We can make a group reservation under your organization’s name and then your conference delegates can call the front desk to book their individual room with their credit card under your group reservation. This is typically what conference attendees do. There is no deposit required on behalf of the group.

Individual group members are required to call the VIU Student Residence front desk at 250-740-6640 to book a room under their group reservation. A credit card number will be required at the time of booking to hold the room. All rooms that have not been booked 4 weeks prior to arrival will be released from the group reservation. 24 hour notice is required to cancel individual reservations. One night’s accommodation will be charged to the credit card on file for any cancellations received with less than 24 hours’ notice.
