Vancouver Island:
Austin has a B.Sc. in Biology and Environmental Sciences from UVic. Since graduating in 2019, he has worked on the local watersheds and beaches of Victoria restoring salmonid habitat, assessing stream health, and coordinating community science. When not working, Austin can be found camping and exploring the natural habitats of Vancouver Island.
