Susan Low

Susan LowSusan Low has been teaching Streamkeepers courses in the South Island for over 10 years, with a brief hiatus while working in Alberta.  Susan has a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Fisheries and Aquaculture and extensive experience in communications and education.  Susan offers courses for groups of all ages, and modified courses for younger students.

She’s looking forward to providing 2 day training workshops covering the Streamkeepers Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, with hands-on demonstrations of 7 & 11.  Courses can be customized to include the particular interests of your group.

Courses generally run on Saturdays and Sundays, although there is flexibility for groups preferring weekdays. Training is a mix of classroom and field-work (stream-work) from 9:00am through 3:30 pm both days. Cost is $50 per person for a two-day course (additional $20 if you want a hard-copy manual) Participants must supply their own waders or gumboots, raingear and lunch.

Call me to arrange a course (12+ participants) or to be added to the list to be notified when a general course is coming up.

For more training information, please contact Susan Low at 778-433-3147 or 250-465-1632; email susanlow@shaw.ca
