Windows Explorer #1Follow this sequence to open Windows Explorer
Start > Programs > Windows Explorer (its icon is a folder with a magnifying glass)
Windows Explorer #2The narrower list (or pane) on the left side of the screen shows the storage devices (disk drives, etc.) connected to your computer, and the folders stored on them. The right side show the contents of the device, or folder, that is selected on the left side. Single click (C:) at or near the top of the left pane.
Then click File > New > Folder
This creates a new folder on the right pane called "New Folder". Type "sk40appl", without quotation marks, into the title of this folder.
Windows Explorer #3

This image shows a simplified view of Explorer. Your own computer will have more folders above sk40appl and more files on the desktop.
With the Desktop icon on the top of the left pane highlighted, use the scroll bar to bring the sk40appl folder into view. Using the left mouse button, click and hold on the file you want to move from the right pane, and move the mouse over the sk40appl folder, until you see it highlighted (turned blue). Then release the mouse button. You have now moved a file from the desktop into a different folder. Continue until all sk40 files are placed in the sk40appl folder.
